Hi I'm hoping maybe someone might be able to help? A Donna Hance & daughter Becky sent me 2 pictures of Shepley-1 of a house & a store. The house was the Shepley boarding house my grandparents {Walter & Georgianna Burton FUHRMAN} supposedly ran for a few years around 1915-16-17. Was informed boarding house was torn down a few years back. Was also informed boarding house was owned by a certain gentlemen until about 1926-which leads me to believe my grandparents did not own it but may have run it. Would like to find more info to prove family stories of boarding house. Unfortunately cannot get to Shawano Co to research. I seem to remember seeing it listed in some census my grandparents were running boarding house-but cannot find it now. In 1910 I find my grandmother living with her parents but no sign of my grandfather. They married in June 1915. My Aunt was born March 1916 in Shepley - by Sept 1917 they were in Outagamie Co where my Uncle & other 8 children were born. The other is a picture of a group of men gathered on a porch of some store building in Shepley. Sign looks like it says "Harper Wh?sae? . Picture could be from 1900 or a few years later. If anyone is interested in trying to figure out who the men are in photo I will send as an attachment to them privately. If anyone has any info relating to boarding house or family story would dearly love the info. Thank you so much for any help that might come, Kathy
