We went to the courthouse in Bonduel, WI and got what we wanted very easily. We did know what we were looking for. They let us look at the books ourselves. I haven't dealt with a lot of states, but they for sure are one of the least "user freinly" ones that I have dealt with... I was in the records in Milwaukee.
