Maurine Czerwonka, 98, passed away Aug. 30, 2002, in Tacoma, WA. Maurine was a teacher & taught school in Sand Creek for many yrs. She & her husb. res. in the Chetek & Cameron area before moving to Tacoma to be near their son Charles & fam. She is survived by her son Charles & wife Lana, Tacoma WA.; 6 grandsons, all in the Tacoma area; her bro.-in-law Clarence Czerwonka & wife Rose of Eau Claire; sev. nieces & nephews & cousins in the Chetek, Cameron & Eau Claire area. Maurine was preceded in death by her husb., Charles; mother & father Effie & Isaac Hewitt; sister Violet Eclman. Bur: New Tacoma Cem., Tacoma, WA.
