An abandoned cemetery or some discarded tombstones? This summer a couple who while hiking came upon a group of gravestones that looked as if they had been unattended for years. There were nine, maybe 10, gravestones just back from the banks of Squaw Lake in the Minocqua township. It is not known if there was a small community or church at that location at one time. The stones are close together causing some concern that they may have been moved from another location. The Minocqua Museum is determined to solve the mystery of the cemetery.
