Hello all: I've joined your list hoping to confirm the identity of the people in three photo's taken in Milwaukee. On the back of one picture is written "from Alf to Frank". This leads me to believe the subjects are Alfred Pipher b. 1874 and his wife Ada Lemon b. 1877 and their son Harold b. abt 1900. This family originated in the Markham, Ontario area. The photographers are Kohler, Saiwden & Hendershot, and Hammers Art Novelty Shop. Is there any source which can tell me when these business's were in operation? Can you suggest any sources which may place this family in the area. So far my research has been primarily Canada and England, so I'm starting green in the US. Jim
