When it comes to computer information, v*r information, etc. go to someone who KNOWS about it to check on what you should do!!!!! This mailing list is not a computer list!!! I belong to other lists, am new to genealogy and fairly new to web, so when I first read this posting, which was "going around" about 6 weeks ago I DID it!!!!! NO NO NO!!! NEVER anything off of your computer without checking with Norton Symantec or McAfee sites. They are free and reputable! Those kinds of postings in the first place, should not be on this list, and in the second place don't take that kind of advice from someone you do not know!!!! This exe program has to do with your computer accepting java, which is NEEDED in some cases! Leave your computer alone, buy a good v*r program, join a v*r mailing list to discuss and get back to genealogy! Char Keeping the Humor [email protected]
