    3. Did Grandma go to Texas with the rest of the family? Check records there to see if she died there. I had a great great grandfather who lived in Wisconsin and his wife died here in 1869. He went to South Dakota in 1884 to homestead and died in S. Dakota in 1901. He was brought back to LaFayette Co. Wis to be buried next to his wife. I contacted the court house in Dakota and they gave me a copy of a permit to remove a body by train to Wisconsin. Perhaps this happened with your Grandma. Good luck G Clayton Hi, Can someone answer a question for me? I am trying my hardest to find my gg grandmother's place of death. I know where she is buried but I can't find the obit in that county. My question is this - can I request a copy of the death certificate from the Wisconsin Archives without a county listed. As I said, I have the birth and death date, and I know where she is buried. I just can't find where she died. Being as she died in 1908, it seems there would be an obit in whatever county that she was in. Do you think that I would be able to get the info I need from a death certificate from the state and would I be able to get it without a county name listed? Thanks for your time, Ken Spangler [email protected] Dallas, Texas _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com
