    1. RE: [GenWisc] I have a virus...it was sent to you...sorry

    3. Karen~ This is a very old hoax the jdbgmgr.exe is a Windows application. You need this to hold files with large names....someone is trying to tell you that the bugbear virus is this, no it isn't. If you deleted jdbgmgr.exe you can find a website to restore this windows application. Just go to Google and type in quotes "virus hoaxes" or "email hoax" and I do remember seing a website where if you deleted the file with the teddybear jdbgmgr.exe you can download it from there! Also always check the lates news or hoaxes before you delete ANY files from your computer or spread the word for others of virus warnings. Good Luck!! -- Thanks, Sandy IBSSG http://www.geocities.com/scarletgen/index.html Grant County, WI Biographies~Part of Wisconsin Biographies My other website: http://www.rootssearch.net/mygensite/sscarletgen/ Searching for the Ancestry of John ATTEBERRY "Karen Wilson" <[email protected]> wrote: > > > >I just received a note from an acquaintance stating she had this virus on her system and that it sends itself to everyone listed in an address book....I checked and, unfortunately, I found it on my system....please follow the following instructions to get it removed from yours....so sorry. > >Here are the instructions: > >Subject: Bugbear Virus > >CNN.com-"Bugbear" worm in, opens doors to hackes-Oct. 4,2002 > >My address book has been infected with a virus and as a result so has >yours because your address was in my book.
