My condolences in your loss. I'm a bit perplexed. There may or may not be any lister that lives in Shawano. Couldn't you call the family member, hospital or funeral home that called you about the death or have them call you about the funeral? Are you looking for her death notice or an obituary. An obituary is written by and paid for by a member of the family. Sometimes the family member writes the info and the funeral home places the obituary in the paper. Otherwise, it would be just a death notice, if that. If there is a family member, perhaps they could call you with information once they finalize the plans. They could also obtain an extra copy of the newspaper and save it for you. If there is no family member, the home where she was residing may have information.
Ron, Thank you. Unfortunately do not know any of Aunt Kates children just that she had some. I know she moved 2 years ago but not where she moved. I now know wake will be held from Zachow Wendts funeral Home via another relative with funeral next day-But WHAT DAYS is the problem. Will probably end up calling them to get arrangements. Maybe they will have copies of obit at funeral home-maybe not. So not taking any chances. Will probably end up paying newspaper for a copy but will go this route 1st since very strapped on funds.
