TO FIND OBIT Sievert, Katherine (Seidler) Katherine (Seidler) Sievert, 93, of Bonduel, died peacefully in her sleep with her family at her side, Sunday, December 26, 2004, at Evergreen Health Care Center, Shawano. She was born September 15, 1911, in rural Shawano to the late Ferdinand and Elsie (Priem) Seidler. Katherine married Harold H. Sievert April 12, 1931. The couple farmed side by side on the Sievert Homestead in the Town of Hartland for 52 years until Harold’s death September 30, 1983. Katherine then moved to Bonduel until several years ago, when she became a resident of Evergreen Health Care Center in Shawano. Katherine was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Zachow. Her world was focused on her husband, her children, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She was an excellent cook, loved to play cards, crochet and embroider. Survivors include one son, Allen (Mardelle) Sievert, Bonduel; four daughters, June (Roger) Kirchenwitz, Zachow; Arlene (Tony) Stilp, Smithville, Texas; Mary (Harold) Kirk, Appleton and Joyce (Leonard) Sigl, Nichols; 20 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, 5 sisters and brothers: Adelia Westphal, Cecil; Ruth Mahn, Green Bay; Arnold (Tootie) Seidler, Appleton; George (Norma) Seidler, Shawano; and Melvin (Elaine) Seidler, Shawano. She was preceded in death by 2 children, Betty Ann and Rodney, a grandchild, Sandra Stilp; one sister, Clara Buelow; and three brothers, Richard, Edgar and Robert Seidler. The funeral service will be Thursday, December 30, at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Zachow, with the Rev. Steven Hyvonen officiating and burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Shawano. Friends may call at Wendt Funeral Home, Bonduel, Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. to the time of service.
