    1. [GenWisconsin] Mortality Census Question
    2. mary silvernail
    3. Hi, I recently found my GGG Grandfather Bartus Silvernail on the 1860 Waupaca mortality census. He died in Weywawega in December of 1859. In 1855 he was in Oakfield, Fond du Lac County with 2 of his sons, in 1860 one son was still in Oakfield, the other had moved to Pepin County. I have no idea what Bartus was doing in Weyauwega the family seemed to stay together, my only other thought would be that maybe one of his daughters and her family (unknown name) moved to Weyauwega. There is no record of his death or that of his wife Elizabeth who must have died between 1855 and 1859. Here's my question. Can the land Bartus lived on be traced through the mortality census? I don't see anything on it, like a farm number or dwelling number that are on regular census records. Thank you, Mary Silvernail
