I ordered a book reprint for some "ALEXANDER" ancestors from Higginson. In this case I had my choice of paperback or hardcover (I ordered hardcover). I had received info about the book from fellow "ALEXANDER" researchers -- and they indicated Higginson would negotiate a discount if there were enough purchasers. Sure enough, when I contacted them, they were willing to provide a discount for 5 or more copies ordered at the same time. (I ordered five to distribute to the children of my husband and his brother.) So, if enough folks on the list are interested, you might see if you can get a discount by ordering together. FYI - leadtime is 5 to 6 weeks.
