I seem to have run into a situation - very new to me where an individual is in control of a cemetery's records. This is in Wisconsin. In a telephone visit she indicated a willingness to find my records and headstones but after a 2 month wait (and a postcard of followup) no reply seems to be forthcoming. She said "their attorney told the Board the records should only be given out thru her." I may have offended her in discussing the situation and mentioning the WI Cemetery Association and the fine work they are doing "reading" the cemeteries and the records. I would like replies to this situation but please reply to me directly so we don't fill up the List such as we have just gone thru on copyrights. There may be some situation here that I just don't understand.
