    3. To Ed Mohr or anyone with more information; One of the collateral lines I am trying to trace is SPOLAR. I found a reference on World Family Tree/ World Family Treemaker to volume 1, tree # 5144 and would appreciate someone looking this up for me. Is there someone reading this who has that CD? The family of SPOLAR's I'm looking for is from Croatia. The name is given as SPERER in German. Jack SPOLAR= Katarina BLAZKOVITZ/BLAZKOVIC, ( a comma underneath) around 1855. They had at least 3 kids, Julia SPOLAR =Frank GRUBISIC; Anton or Tony, unknown; and Carla SPOLAR =Joseph PETROVICH. Anyone run across them? Or other SPOLAR family from Croatia or Yugoslavia or Austria (before WW1)? Thank you kindly. 2. The surnames are listed on my previous listing. The birth date of my ancestor is 1821 and his name was Johann DENIG, DENNIG, DEHNICKE. Cincinnati is the major city of Hamilton County, Ohio, but I entered the listing on the Wisconsin list because after the marriage Johann and his wife moved to Fond du Lac County (Empire) Wisconsin. Shortly after they moved they changed the surname to DANA.

    1. [GenWisconsin] Source for 1829 immigrants???
    2. Does anyone know how to find immigrant information about someone who came to the U.S. in 1829? I think they came to the U.S. from Alsace. I can't find any trace of them prior to 1846 when I found a marriage certificate in Hamilton County, Ohio. A newspaper obit gives 1829 as the arrival date? Are there any indexes for people arriving in the 1820s? Any help would be appreciated.
