I am looking for more information on the KRUEGER family in central Wisconsin, namely Fred and Emelia TIEMER KRUEGER, parents of my great Clara KRUEGER WEBER, wife of Peter WEBER. Clara was born 2 Aug. 1885, died 27 Sept. 1958. Peter was born in 1875, died 3 Apr. 1929. He was the son of Christian and Anna KAISER WEBER, founder of Webertown, located northwest of where Stratford is now located in Marathon County, Wisconsin. Peter WEBER and Clara KRUEGER WEBER operated Pete WEBER's Saloon, which was located on the corner of Hwy 97 where Equity Livestock Corp. is not located, just north of Stratford, on the Big Eau Pleine River. After the death of her husband Clara operated the Saloon herself, and finished raising her family ll children, less the three who died very young. Their surviving children include the following: Harvey Weber (twin of Stella) Stella Weber (Mrs. Emil POPP) Jesse Weber (m. Josephine Meek, sp. 2=Alvera) Lylas Weber (Mrs. Oscar Capes) Angie Weber (Sp.1=Herman Dahlman; Sp.2=Wm Clements) Eleanor Weber (Mrs. Charles Crofoot) Melvin Weber (m. Agnes "Rusty") Lester Weber (m. Mary Jo Helzemier) Anyone with further information on this family, please write Patti Laessig at anaquea@dwave.net
