Now to the information I just received from W. T. (Bill) Dodd concerning the parentage of Elisha Gentry. He states that Elisha is descended this way: Samuel Gentry Nicholas(1) Gentry Samuel Gentry David (Long David) Gentry Elisha Gentry Martin Gentry Elisha (my husbands) Gentry David Gentry (#5 above under Elisha's children-my elusive ? who married Rebecca ?) He married Rebecca D.
