I am not a librarian, and maybe I'm a little dumber than the average researcher, but I find some libraries easy to do research in, and others are a hassle. That is including our local library's genealogy section. The way it is catalogued and has to be displayed is a nightmare at this particular library. I know there must be method to the madness, but no one at the library is one bit interested in genealogy, so it does not bother them. Can you make some suggestions to me, as how to go about getting the proposed new, larger section, which is emminent, in a more sane order. Or is that possible? If there is a book to help organize the section, please advise me of it. They have been instructed to not put the genealogy into computer, so it won't be available for inter-library loan, I don't know if that makes a difference or not. HELP!!!!
