Oct. 27, 1899 OBITUARY: On the 10th inst., death called for his own, our dear beloved niece Nellie May French, aged 3 years and 3 months. She was the only daughter of Mr and Mrs O. F. French and a favorite of all who knew her. Her burial took place on Wednesday 11th. Her cousin, SALLIE MAY GENTRY, died one year ago of the same dread disease, croup. J. T. GENTRY and John D. Miller brakeman, were here for a days rest. Oct 27, 1899 Misses Laura Langfor of east part of the county and Lucy Mahan of London visited the Misses GENTRY, of this place Saturday last. Misses ROSA and LUCY VIRGINIA GENTRY accompanied Miss Langford home. Nov 3, 1899 Jake Gentry was fined for shooting on the highway onenight last week. Dec. 15, 1899 All the churches have agreed to have a union christmas tree at the Court House oMonday evening 25th. Misses Mary Cox, Georgie McFerron, ROSA GENTRY and Mr. W. J. Sparks have charge of the music. Jan. 5, 1900 MARRIAGE: J. T. GENTRY and Miss Ida Ping of Pulaski county were married Xmas night at the home of the grooms parents, Mr and Mrs H. C. GENTRY. Bro.
