I have an Atlas Pinkney "Pink" Gentry, b. 1858 in Union Co MS (very north MS, almost TN). He's a brother to *my* great grandfather, Dunbar Fanning Gentry, son of Levi F. Gentry and Elizabeth Jane Hunter. I have some unsupported research from another person with Levi's parentage, but I'm still in the process of checking it out. If this could be your Pink, holler -- all I have for him is a name, but I know where lots of his kin are buried, including Levi.
