Jan 1864 John Gentry, was Private in Co. B, 10th Tenn Cal. Jan 11, 1865 in hospital. August 21, 1865 mustered out of service. August 27, 1865 died in Cumberland Hospital at Nashville, Tn. Record of Death and Interment also states he was buried August 27th 1865 in Grave #14343 City Cemetery, His residence before entering service was listed as Bridgeport, Hamilton Co.
