Tucker, 119 21 Avenue North, Texas City, TX 77590. She stated that Archibald W. Gentry was admr. of the estate of his brother David Gentry who had never married. ... there is one record of land sold in Muscogee Co., GA. The records begin about 1838 to 1850. The brothers and sisters of Archibald and David Gentry were: Mary Ann Gentry; Elizabeth Ann, wife of William Mays; Eliza Ann, wife of Levi Mays; Telitha Ann Gentry; Martha Ann Gentry; Seaborn Gentry; William Gentry; Judy Ann, wife of Samuel Cochran; and Lauvina Tatum (evidently a half-sister). The above record was in Record Book G, page 253, year 1850, in Troup Co., GA, but the estate was probated in AL. And from marriages in Greene Co., GA, there is a marriage of Seaborn Gentry to Malinda Shirley, 6 August 1839. Hope this helps. This is not in my husband's line.
