For those of you who had ancestors from NC, here is a great site, with many family, cemetery, will, etc links. My ancestors, Dickerson Chaffin and Jinsey Clouse came to Prairie Co AR in 1849, from what had once been old Rowan Co NC, which emcompassed a very large area, including part of East TN. Also, Enoch Jarvis came the same year to Prairie Co, after his wife died in 1850, he married Dickerson's daughter, Betsy Ann in Prairie Co.
