Would those of you who have the tradition of Nicholas Gentry being married to Lucy Cornelious please share with the rest of us your source for this information? Also, I would like to make a comment on the Essex/Sussex tradition as to the Gentry family origin in England. I have researched in England on 5 different occasions. I have never yet found any 17th century mention of a Gentry in Sussex. I think the author of the Gentry book meant to say Suffolk, not Sussex.
