Gentry left Tuesday for Lebanon Junction Mar. 30, 1900 Mrs H.C. gentry ran a very narrow excape of being mad dog bit, a few days since as she was going out to her sons Meshac Gentry who lives only a short distance out from town. When she started she took with her a favorite dowy which she had had for some time, when only a short distance out she came to a small stream and there noticed something wrong with the dog, but rode on paying but little attention to it, shortly she saw the dog coming at full speed ran up to her and began trying to bit her. The slober were running from the dogs mouth in an incessant stream. She being able to retain her mind and nerve enought to keep the dog off until she could side up to the fence.
