Hi all, I've been lurking too. Nothing I have seen posted fits. I am looking for the parents of a Sarah (Sally) GENTRY b: 1824 NC married Henry SOUTHARD abt 1846 in NC. I have reason to believe that Sarah's Mother might have been a HODGES and that they all came from Surry Co., NC. So, for now, I am looking for a GENTRY-HODGES connection. Anyone researching North Carolina GENTRY's? If so let me hear from you 'cause I sure need help! Sammie
