What you say is true, "The History of the Cherokee Indians" documents that Tiana Rogers was married to David Gentry and later to Sam Houston.The book has this data under The Old Family GRANT: Tiana Rogers ~1803 GRA-1.1.2.1.4 David Gentry Samuel Houston They had: Gabreil Gentry ~1825 GRA-1.1.2.1.4.1 Joanna Gentry ~1826 GRA-1.1.2.1.4.2 This shows that Tiana Rogers was the 5th generation of the Grant family (4th child of GRA-1.1.2.1), and that she and David had two daughters recorded. Dates are rough estimates, based on their descent from Ludovic Grant, the founder of the family. Tiana's family tree goes like this: Jennie Due, b~1766 GRA-1.1.2.1 ?
