There a "M." (initial only) Gentry, a 25-year-old man, is listed with William, Sarah, and Berry. What relation does he have to Minerva? Moreover if her first child was born in 1848, I would expect her to be listed with Elihu Campbell rather than with any Gentrys. Bill Gentry

    3. I got curious, and these are not related to me, but I looked at the image on ancestry of this census: Page 266 lists: M. Gentry 25 M William 8 M Sarah 6 F Berry 4 M Elihu(Elishu) Campbell 48 M (listed with the family but on the next page. Elishu is what it looks like to me.) Page 300 lists: M. Gentry 49 F Edward 17 M M. Gentry 15 F William 13 M Eliza 11 M Clonuda?? 9 F Hope this helps and as a side note, I have seen the sex labelled incorrectly on censi before. Not that it is the case here, necessarily, but it is possible.
