    3. Oh, thats real nice. I just signed up for that last week and there was nothing on their site about that. So nice of them to give you a whole 10 days to upgrade. If anyone is interested they can check out this site that I also use. http://www.gencircles.com You can post your tree and people can send you messages. We've been proud to offer the leading family website service for nearly five years. The enthusiasm you and other customers have shown has been incredible. In order to continue providing this service, we have made the difficult decision to convert all MyFamily sites to paid sites. This means that one member of each MyFamily site will need to pay the annual fee in order for the site to remain active. When one member pays for the site, all other site members enjoy the same benefits for free. To make upgrading as easy as possible, we're offering a 66% discount for the first year to customers who upgrade their sites now. Please note that all unpaid websites will become inaccessible June 23. I'm not going to pay their price. If any of you are members of my site and want anything that is there, please save it during the next 5 days. After that, I will take it down. I hate to do that, but $$$ count nowdays! 3. For whatever its worth as my opinion on this subject....seems everyone appears to be a bit negative on this issue...but take into consideration that ancestry.com, rootsweb.com, genealogy.com and myfamily.com are all owned as a monopoly now, so something like this should not come as much of a surprise, but compared to the price you pay for all the others not to inc myfamily.com......their price is very reasonable, and I believe worth it if you want to have your own private site for yr family, relatives, desc of yr ancestors, upload pics, put in family trees, have chats and load files and history data...not to mention being able to send pics to others thru the site by cards. I have had a site there since they almost came on line. 3 yrs ago I upgraded to 100k so I would have more room.....this was 20. I did not feel it too exerburant at all considering all the data everyone that is there has contributed over the yrs and over 30-40 members that we do now have on our site. This I believe is the very best BOOK we could ever have on all the information contributed by all the desc of our family. I believe its one of the best ways to have a family be together and share there on line and worth the price. Just my opinion.....MedicineWoman --- Ed Pereira <edp@ci.tracy.ca.us> wrote: Oh, thats real nice. just signed up for that last week and there was nothing on their site about that.
