> William Lee married Polly (Phobee) Underwood in TN in 1821 they had a daughter (only child I could I find find) she was born 1828 KY. says death cert. census say TN. On the 1850 Wayne CO. MO census it married a James Sutton NC from the age on the census James was born art. 1785 he was about 40 years older than Martha and had 2 sons already gone that were born in TN. can't find them or James first wife. they are on a census liveing by Silvanus Sutton, Marha and James have William B. abt. 1845 Mary "Polly" b. abt. 1846 (my gggrandmother) Agnes b. abt. 1848 Melvina b. abt. 1849 Louis b. 1852. they were all born in MO. but unable to find any birth cert. on any of them. > Mary Polly Sutton had 2 sons James W. b. abt. 1865 also Lewis Patrick b. abt. 1869. census say there were born in MO father to them unknown. James son later puts in a delay of birth and puts his dads birth places as TN. Mary "Polly" Sutton later married a James McFadden in 1878 in Iron CO. MO. and has 4 more sons after the last is born in 1881 we can't find Mary "Polly" anymore think maybe she died giveing birth can find no dath cert. > Agnes Sutton Polly's sister death cert. says her husband was William Sutton can not find a marriage cert.or find where this William is from or find him on anything.We only have this name William Sutton she has 2 children can't find a birth cert. on them. > Martha Lee Sutton later married a Levi Gentry we are not able to find a death on James from NC. or find any family he fits into. > Would welcome any help. > Barbara > eor@saber.net
