I cannot locate your Gentry-Dollar (or vice versa) family. However, recently I was told about the search engine <A HREF="www.google.com">www.google.com</A> as a useful tool for genealogy. Put the name "James Dollar" or whatever name in quotation marks, and perhaps you will find a genealogy-linked URL to help you find some fellow (or girl) searchers. Sometimes you strike out--I put in the name of a person I was searching and found a like-named person was on Death Row. And you will find several living persons by that name, perhaps. However, by quickly searching not only the headline but also the URL, you can determine whether it is genealogy-linked. James Dollar brought up ten screens of hits. Needless to say, I did not scan them all. I have too much uncompleted genealogy myself. How about a search for Lumpkin Dollar? E.W.Wallace
