I have reached a brick wall that is reinforced with solid steel. I would appreciate anyone with Gentry family from SC to please take pity on a poor old worked myself cross eyed fellow genealogy nut! Our early life started with Margaret Gentry she came from SC in 1840 to Forsyth county GA. According to Forsyth census she had a sister named Tempy that was married to a James Dollar. In the 1880 census she is listed as head of household with her son Lumpkin, and her sister Tempy Dollar, and another sister Elisabeth Smith, all three are listed as widowed, and they are all in one household. Poor Lumpkin who is listed as 19 years old and also living in that household!! If any of you have a Margaret Gentry born around 1840 in SC with a sister Tempy born around 1830 and another younger sister named Elisabeth PLEASE HELP ME!!! Thank you, Jane and David Gentry
