    3. Jerri, In 1930, Henderson Co., Ky., Croydon Dist. 22, I found a Webb R. Gentry and wife, Fie D. Gentry who had a daughter age 19 named Dollie. #15/15 Webb R. You'd probably need to find some marriage records to see if there is a connection between your family and the Gentrys. This information was taken from the family bible of Lina Mayes Keesee I wanted to share with everyone and also see if they can figure out the relationships of these people to the Keesee/Smith Family. 3. Hi, Merry Christmas! I was wondering if anyone had in their information a Richard Keesee born June 15, 1892 died?son of James Aaron Keesee and Melvina Maynard, married to a Susan or Susanah Carolina Mayes born August 20, 1894 died? She was nicked named "Lina". She was said to of been born in Cherokee North Carolina and was the Daughter of Walter or William Mayes and possibly Betty Gentry. My information is sketchy. In the 1920 Pike county Kentucky census Lina is listed as living with her husband, and children. Her father must have lived close by and remarried shortly after the death of his first wife. This information comes from a family story. I am thinking that Elisabeth or Betty Gentry would have died after 1916, but can't be for sure. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Any information that comes close would be appreciated. I know for a fact the last name is Mayes but am unclear about the Gentry part.. This information effects two sides of the family.
