I do know she was in Edgecombe but prob. abt. the time of her marriage. This has been a very frustrating family to research for me. I got curious, and these are not related to me, but I looked at the image on ancestry of this census: Page 266 lists: M. Gentry 25 M William 8 M Sarah 6 F Berry 4 M Elihu(Elishu) Campbell 48 M (listed with the family but on the next page. Elishu is what it looks like to me.) Page 300 lists: M. Still on the list here in Villa Park, IL. Believe descendant of Allan Cain Gentry: Allan Cain Gentry John Gentry m Elizabeth Moody Mitta Gentry m Solomon Skelton Mitta was born 2/15/1797 in SC. She died 4/28/1874 in Saline Co., IL. She married Solomon 6/12/1812 in SC. Solomon was in the War of 1812 and Mitta filed for a widow's pension. She had no copy of a marriage license so her marriage was proved by affadavits of people who had known Mitta and Solomon in SC. I have a copy of the NARA file which includes a copy of the family bible. Solomon and Mitta came to Illinois around 1832 with the Riley and Gregg families and settled in Gallatin Co. Suzanne Liva
