Oh, thats real nice. I just signed up for that last week and there was nothing on their site about that. So nice of them to give you a whole 10 days to upgrade. If anyone is interested they can check out this site that I also use. http://www.gencircles.com You can post your tree and people can send you messages. We've been proud to offer the leading family website service for nearly five years. The enthusiasm you and other customers have shown has been incredible. In order to continue providing this service, we have made the difficult decision to convert all MyFamily sites to paid sites. This means that one member of each MyFamily site will need to pay the annual fee in order for the site to remain active. When one member pays for the site, all other site members enjoy the same benefits for free. To make upgrading as easy as possible, we're offering a 66% discount for the first year to customers who upgrade their sites now. Please note that all unpaid websites will become inaccessible June 23. I'm not going to pay their price. If any of you are members of my site and want anything that is there, please save it during the next 5 days. After that, I will take it down. I hate to do that, but $$$ count nowdays! Ellen, I have to send you an invitation. I was just there, and am really disgusted. None of the info that was there is there now. I don't know what has happened to it. There are a few pictures left, but none of the correspondence will come up. My Cornett site still has the info. If you want, I can send you an invite! Not much there though. This picture seems to have been taken in the late 1800's early 1900's she appears to be of about 15-25 yrs. old and there is nothing but her name on the picture as well as the place of the pciture being taken, but i can say this, this picture has been found in an antique store in Mount Vernon, Ohio. she appears to have very small features and very fair in color, either dark blond or light brown. really dainty lips and ears. SHe is wearing a white lace top with a high neck it looks to have wrapped around her neck and tied in back with a cameo on the front of her neck. on the front of her blouse is a big bow if this helps please let me know... candy __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Hi Everyone, I'm getting a lot of bounced mail due to full mailboxes. This is happening on all the lists I manage. Please, if you are going to be away for more than a day or so, unsubscribe from your lists. Or, if you are just subscribed to a lot of lists, check your mail regularly. You might be missing some important connections! Does anyone have information on Gentrys who lived in Guilford County or Wilkes County, North Carolina? I've been on the list for quite a while, but haven't seen our area listed. I am descended from Cornelius Bonaparte Gentry, who came to Wilkes from Guilford. Betty

2003, W.M. Gentry - All rights reserved. Revision Subsequent to posting the May issue of this Journal, Annette Penrod of Ogden, UT pointed out a fact that the author overlooked, namely that a Roland Gentry listed in the 1840 Pulaski County, AR census was probably the same individual as the Rowland Gentry who married Nancy Mattocks in 1823 in Hall County, GA. The writer was aware of the Arkansas record but did not connect it with the Rowland of Hall County. He was not aware of the fact that a Nancy Gentry was married in Pulaski County in 1849, which strengthens considerably the probability that this was Roland's widow. In the interests of maximum accuracy, it has seemed best that a corrected version of this month's Journal issue be posted as soon as practical. As a consequence, all references to Rolly and Roland Gentry in the original article have been reviewed and revised as necessary. http://www.gentryjournal.com ===== Medicine Woman's Vision-"Treat the earth well: it was not given to you by your parents, it was loaned to you by your children. Dear Gentry Cousin's and Researcher's, I have been away from my search on the Gentry lines for a little while, but now that tax time is over and my planting and yard work are nearly complete I am dusting off my research books and getting back in the groove of things. I am going to start with my g-g-grandfather's children before moving back another generation. So if there is anyone out there with information on William Gentry's (b. March 9, 1850, Morgan Co., Missouri and d. Oct. 26, 1943 in Toledo, Illinois) who married Permilla "Millie" Ellen Landrus (b. Feb. 24, 1857 - d. About a year ago I sent out an email request on information regarding the marriage of David Gentry to Tiana Rogers. I read some material on Tiana Rogers and Sam Houston, but it only mentioned a marriage between David and Tiana with no real hard evidence or information. Would love it if you could bring me up to date. Also, I am curious as to your lineage since we are both from the Gentry line and have the same name. I am also Bobbi (no "e") Jo (Gentry) Meyer. My lineage goes like this - Bobbi Jo Gentry & Larry Meyer Bobby Dean Gentry & Christine Sharp William Glenn Gentry & Verna Kingrey Hiram Newton Gentry & Barbara Claybaugh William Gentry & Permillia Landrus Garland Gentry & Penelope Wheeler Blackston Gentry & Mary Bunch Nicholas Gentry III & Elizabeth Stringer Nicholas Gentry II & Mary Brooks Nicholas Gentry I & Lucy Cornelius I look forward to hearing from you.
