I am just beginning to research my family tree. I don't have much information. My great-grandfather was William Gentry. He was married to Mabel Underwood. They lived in College Corner, OH. This is from the book, "Pioneer Settlers of Grayson Co. Va. Pge 63. "The second son of Levi Cornett and Olive Hale, George W. Cornett married first, Miss Herbert; they had one son, Thomas. My most wanted Gentry is John Gentry, born in 1826 in AL , probably Jackson Co. He marr Martha Jane Manuel in 1848 in Drew Co., AR. John was the son of William Gentry and Elizabeth McPherin. William was the son of Jesse. John Gentry had siblings: Williah H., Mary Ann, Andrew Jackson, Emeline, Calvin, and Nathan. I also have the names of John and Martha Janes' children . They apparently spent their lives in Jefferson Co., AR., but I would like to know anyone who is their line.
