The following is the only way to print out "favorites" for AOL users. This is directly from the technical staff at AOL: America Online currently does not support the ability to print out the Favorite Places, but there is a way to do this. To print out the Favorite Places file, use the following procedure: 1. With the America Online program open, click on the "File" option on the menu bar then click on "NEW." This will open a text Window in which you can compose a text document to be printed or copy/cut & pasted into e-mail. You can do this online or offline 2. Open your Favorite Places file by clicking on the Favorite Places icon on the America Online Icon Tool Bar. You can now drag and drop a Favorite Places entry into the open text window. 3. After you have placed the Favorite Place into the text window, and while the specific Favorite Place is still highlighted, click on the "MODIFY" button in the Favorite Places window. This will reveal the name of the Favorite Place and the place's actual address or URL. 4. Using the copy & paste features on your EDIT menu, copy the address into the text window either on the same line as the Favorite Place or directly beneath it. 5. After you have copied the address/URL, close the "Modify" window by clicking on the "CLOSE" button in the upper right corner of that window. This will prevent any accidental changes to the address/URL from being saved. You may use this procedure for each site located in your Favorite Places folder. Once you have copied all of the entries into the text window, clicking on the printer icon of selecting "PRINT" from the File Menu will print out your new "Favorite Places" document. We realize that this procedure may seem tedious, but this is currently the only way to print out the Favorite Places.
