To all who wrote to me about my "lost" Family Tree: Thank you....thank you.....thank you! I am overwhelmed by the compassionate people out there. I felt as if I was reading sympathy cards sent to me because of a deceased loved one! and in a way, it IS like a "death" in the family.....we had a lightening storm last Friday night (in Michigan), and our power went out. I think we got quite a surge of electricity and it did something nasty to my CPU, because I couldn't log on all weekend. It kept stating I didn't "have enough memory freed up". (?) So my husband (first mistake, God bless 'im!) started to randomly delete files willy-nilly, when all of a sudden---poof!! there goes FTM down the drain, and before I could stop him, he then emptied the Recycle Bin. I DID try re-installing The Family TreeMaker, but, unfortunately, there remains only a skeleton in my family tree.......(no pun intended!)
