I have spent a great deal of time trying to find the background of George Greenberry Mckenzie of VA and TN( circa 1760-1830). When I was in Scotland last summer the McKenzie Clan genealogist told me that Greenberry is a surname in Scotland and to pursue that. Someone else told me it me it is an English name. That seems to mean looking toward the Scottish lowlands. Does anyone have any information on the surname Greenberry? Also, I finally called up the Family History webpage( about Greenberry) and I know some of the information to be incorrect. Others have told me that the policy of the Mormon Church is to accept anything proviced but they do not check it. It os lovely to have the service, but watch out for accuracy. Celia in MD
