I am not 100% sure about this, but I seem to remember one of my grandmother's sisters becoming a Mormon years ago. I remember overhearing a conversation between my mother and grandmother saying that they had received a letter from this aunt (no one had seen or heard from her for many years). Anyway, the gist of the conversation was that this woman was trying to gather information from the family to include in her family tree when she joined the Mormon church. My mother seemed to think that the Mormons believed that they could pray dead relatives into heaven, and that's why they put all of their relatives in the IGI even the ones that were not Mormon. I don't know if this is right, but it seems logical to me that if you are a Mormon, and you are putting together your family tree, you would list all of your relatives. Even the Baptists and Lutherans, or else they would have big gaps in their family trees. Bob
