Hello Friends: I came across something last night that still has me scratching my beard in puzzlement. I was going through FTM Family Tree CD#5, researching the name CRADER. Following the name back on Tree #6021 I came to the patriarch whose name was Samuel James CARUTHERS (1792-1855). That's right; all his offspring had the name CRADER, including his grandson Jean Neville (Neuville) Crader (1849-1939). Then I get to Tree #1283, follow the CRADER name back to the patriarch who is Jean Neville CARUTHERS! Yes, the grandson of Samuel James. I know there must be a simple reason for the different surnames being used interchangeably but I can't see what it is. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks... Dale
