One of the names included was Virkus. A cousin told me she was planning to purchase a fairly expensive book by Virkus and I warned her about what I had read. Unfortunately I can't find the article to back up my warning? Anyone know where I can find it again? And this time I will bookmark it! I didn't see the notice that you are referring to but as a Familly History major, we have been warned in more than one class to be careful using Virkus and Savage. Some of the information in these books ia accurate but much of it is not. Both of them can provide a place to begin searching but it is best to not accept them as the end of the search. Many libraries carry one or both of these books and copying the pages that applies to the family you are searching might be a better choice. Sharon
