One thing about genealogy, it's forcing me to learn more about history or at least remember what i forgot. Just found out i have a g grandfather that was a civil war soldier. Am assuming he served in Pa where he was born and lived. (assuming, not a good thing) Have seen some of the questions in here about civil war pensions. My question is . Did everyone that served get a pension or?? Any input would be greatly appreciated. lila
