HELLO, Yes the mormons believe in sealing their famlies together forever. When work is done on deceased relitives, it is believed that they can accept the work or decline the work. We are all given free agency, you are free to not believe in this doctrine; however when you are at the right hand of your Father in Heaven you may wish to accept this work. When that time comes, you are still a free agent, as your relitives before you... When there is something I don't understand, I pray about it. I have prayed about this, I know that my free agency will not effect those around me. They can make up their own mind, accept or decline the work. I do it for them because someday I hope to be reunited with all of them, that there not be big gaps in my family line. Our beliefs are probably alot alike, just alittle different. One day we will meet in Heaven and it won't be so, our beliefs, our doctrine, our understanding will be the same. Until then our free agency helps get us through... dwedmer@cscomputing.net Diana, Write back, I'd be interested to hear from you...
