Well folks, at the risk of asking a dumb question, IF you submit a GEDCOM to LDS, Does this, or does this not then allow for them to be baptized or sealed? into the Mormon church. now, the reason I ask this is..I found an ancestral file via the LSD church. There is a date of Baptism into the Church, and the name of the submitted. I have made contact with the submittor, she is NOT Mormon, and had no idea how the sealed, baptized thing happened. ( the ancestor was a Baptist minister) While I am not unduly upset by this, and I do not want this to be a religious debate, the question remains? Who decides when or if a group of ancestors become sealed into the Mormon Church?
