Hello to Linda and the list. Linda, you have hit a hot button with me. Allow me to orate from the soapbox for a minute. I do not like the idea of turning my research over to a company that is going to package it and sell it. (I know some people don't agree with that view. That is their right.) I am going to submit my research to the Ancestral File of the LDS Church. No cost except the disk and postage to send it in, and they will make it available FREE to anyone researching at any Family History Center-- more than 2800 FHCs last I heard. That's pretty widely available! And no, I'm not Mormon. But I have benefited for many years from the facilities of the Family History Centers and the research of others. There is a four-page leaflet with detailed instructions for submitting a GEDCOM to Ancestral File.
