    3. Hi Marcia: Go back into your FTM program and click on File and then click on Open. When the box opens up go ahead and indicate the directory and folder the file is in. Also, make sure you indicate it to lists "ALL FILE TYPES" not just the FTW files. Once you get that go ahead and click on OKAY. It will then ask you a name to save the file under. Go ahead and give it a name such as Smith.FTW and then click on Okay again. Took me a couple of times before I spotted the "List type of files" problem. Once I changed it to all files, then the GEDCOM showed up.
