Does anyone know whom I might contact to get information on my 1st. cousin who served in the Pacific theatre and was medically discharded from the US Army? All I have on him is his name Heribert Maria Katrina Buerger (Burger) and that he immigrated from Germany as a child. I have no idea on his birthdate, place/date of discharge nor his parents names. I don't even know if he is dead or alive. If alive he would be approximately 70-80 yrs. old. If I can find anything out about him it will help me on my family tree tremendously. This cousin holds the key to other important info on my father's side of the family, he is the only link I have to one of my dad's brothers whose name I do not know.
