    1. Re: potters field
    2. LMiller Typical there is a list in the County Court House where potters fields are handled thru The county will also have a list at least in Cinn Oh of all those person who were found dead and no one claimed the body, and buried in potters field. These records will be typical kept by the County Commissioners so there records is where you will probably have to look, check with the county commissioner clerk. Cemeteries now as I understand it at start up have to designate a certain amount of grave sites for Indigentents that have no other persons to provide a burial service. In Tulsa the services are restricted no viewing. I knew a girl who had no family in the area and offered to have her buried in one of my plots the Funeral home informed me that they would be paid $250.00 for the service by the County but if I donated the burial site I would have to pay for all of the services such as grave opening and closing and the casket total about 4 Grand. so She now has a nice head stone. I have also searched the County records in Cinn Oh for my grand father George Geesing who died some time after 1925 and as yet have not found a burial site yet and as for as I know have left no record undistrubed. If by chance you read this and know of this man let me know. George in Tulsa
