The main difference is that CM "specializes" toward the genealogy side while LI leans towards the photography side whether that be free lance photogs as myself or the person who just likes to take pictures. Therefore LI prices have a tendancy to be lower than those of CM. Just my opinion. Both companies offer excellent prices, but as in all things, shop around.
