AOL will not allow me to cut Email I recieve. I havee no problem highlighting what a want to save, going to Edit and clicking on Copy. Then I go to File and click on New. When the new window comes up I go to Edit and Click on Paste. Generally I get just what I highlighted. (Maybe twice when I did this all I got was black.) I then title it and save it to a disc.
